the venue
The Hideout sleeps up to 23 people and offers ample space for camping. It is a tranquil riverside escape on the lower Howqua River set on 3 acres. It offers spectacular river access, open gardens, a treehouse dining space, and a reclaimed timber fire pit for unforgettable gatherings.
The Treehouse offers a stunning setting for both cocktail functions and sit-down meals, comfortably accommodating up to 100 guests. For larger celebrations, a marquee can be arranged and set up in the garden to expand your event space. Designed for seamless entertainment, the Treehouse provides ample room for live music, a bar, and catering setup, ensuring a smooth flow for your celebration. The lawns offer additional space for outdoor ceremonies, garden parties, or relaxed pre-wedding gatherings.
For a more casual and versatile setting, our separate undercover entertainment area features a bar, a pool table, and a table tennis table, creating the perfect space for pre-wedding drinks or a recovery day with family and friends.
The Hideout is available for a minimum of two nights, with a four-night extended weekend being the ultimate wedding getaway. This allows you plenty of time to set up, celebrate, unwind, and pack up stress-free.
