High Country

Hall of Fame

coming soon

The High Country is more than just a place—it’s a way of life, a legacy passed down through generations of cattlemen, horsemen, and bushmen who lived, worked, and thrived in these rugged mountains. But if we don’t act now, we risk losing this history forever. That’s why the High Country Hall of Fame is so important. It’s not just a museum—it’s a living, breathing tribute to the people and stories that shaped this land.

Here, visitors will walk in the footsteps of the mountain cattlemen, experience the grit and spirit of those who came before us, and feel the magic of the Man from Snowy River come to life. From blacksmithing and gold panning to horsemanship and timber milling, we’ll showcase the skills and traditions that built the High Country.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Delatite River and surrounded by gardens, huts, and storytelling spaces, this Hall of Fame will be a place where history is honored, families come together, and the spirit of the High Country lives on

But we can’t do it alone. This is our chance to secure the future of our past—to build something that will stand for generations. If the mountains, the cattlemen, and their legacy mean something to you, now is the time to be part of it.
